Our Mission: The Outdoor/Christian Education Committee of the Presbytery of cincinnati was established to promote Presbyterian camp and conference opportunities and award scholarships to individuals and groups to participate in those opportunities.

Criteria To Qualify

To qualify for assistance from the scholarship fund, the camp, conference or event must either be:

  1. A Presbyterian camp or conference that is sponsored by a presbytery, synod or the General Assembly of the PCUSA and which includes Christian education as a clearly defined objective.
  2. A multi-congregational cooperative, Christian educational event sponsored by congregations of the Presbytery of Cincinnati.

APPLICATIONS FOR ROUND ONE OF FUNDING ARE DUE BY APRIL 15TH!

Applicants will be notified by the Task Force once a decision has been made. Payments will be made to the participant's church.

Funding Guidelines

Up to one-third of the cost of an activity may be funded based on need and if scholarship money is available. The Outdoor/Christian Education Committee recommends the following funding structure:

  • 1/3 participant
  • 1/3 church
  • 1/3 scholarship from the Presbytery

Limited Funding is available, and will be granted based upon need!
